London: The Labour Asians Society (LAS) proudly clinched the coveted Labour Friends Group of the Year title at the Labour Excellence Awards 2024, hosted by SME4 Labour. The award was presented during a dazzling gala dinner, celebrating excellence and contributions across the Labour Party.

The prestigious accolade was accepted by a distinguished delegation comprising Patron Virendra Sharma, Afzal Khan MP, Baggy Shanker MP, alongside LAS senior leadership, board members, and supporters.

The Labour Asians Society has been at the forefront of championing Asian community representation within the Labour Party, advocating for inclusivity, and driving meaningful change.
